The John Deere Z740R ZTrak™ is a highly adjustable and durable zero-turn mower, great for large property owners. With 48”, 54” or 60” High Capacity PRO mower deck options, a heavy-duty engine and transmission combination, and an 8-gallon fuel tank capacity, operators can mow well fast for longer periods of time, while achieving excellent cut quality. Designed with a 3-position adjustable foot platform, adjustable motion control levers, and an adjustable mechanical suspension seat, users can customize their comfort to enhance their mowing experience. To save time, the automatic park brake is integrated into the motion control levers and the main service points are easy to access.

One of the challenges was to seamlessly integrate a large fuel tank and provide ease of access to service points, which ultimately translate to time savings. Integrating a park brake into the motion control levers was another challenge that ultimately improves efficiency for the operator as it eliminates an extra step in the start-up and shut-down procedure.
The design innovations include a 3-position adjustable foot platform, automatic park brake, integrated into the motion control levers, foot pegs, a 24-inch high-back mechanical suspension seat, and an automatic deck transport lock.
