Creating objects and experiences motivated by curiosity
I believe objects are revealed by layers, and don’t need to scream for attention to be heard or understood. Objects can hide messages that are only revealed by the act of curiosity and time…the connection with these objects transcends mere contemplation, giving rise to immersive experiences that encompass interaction, rituals, gestures, playfulness, and the creation of lasting memories.
This perspective encapsulates the essence of my work over the past decade, creating products, illustrations and experiments, and collaborating with the most talented group of people from teams at BMW Designworks, Peloton, Colgate, John Deere, Panasonic, OXO, Curve ID, Smart Design, among others. The collective efforts of these collaborations have shaped and enriched my understanding of the intricate relationship between objects and the experiences they provoke.
