Ideas in Form
The next images shown the evolution of some ideas based on the selection of 2 concepts (words). In this case, I selected the words "Fractal" and "D-Construct", the first one related to "never ending" patterns, and the second one, associate it with layers, using different materials (in some cases with waste) and exploded components.
I created some moodboards that visually guided my concept development phases:
For 1D, I created a tale that reflects the 2 selected words. This concept image shows a summarized version of the tale.
For 2D, I created an interactive poster that shows a chaotic image full of excerpts from different novels (chaotic-fractal view). I played with different layers of paper to create a continuous story. The viewer can unfold different pieces to discover new narrative lines.
Exploded views of a table clock (D-Construct). Chaotic and fractal apperance. The object become 'readable' as soon as the views interacts with the object.
D-Fragmentation of a typeface to create an ineractive lamp piece.
Chaotic Patters that make sense as soon as the user interacts with the lamp rotating the different layers.
